On July 28, 2011, the General Services Administration named Federal Technology STARS joint venture, consisting of L D Ness Inc, Technology Digest of Rockville, MD, and Intercom of Landsdowne, VA, an awardee of the Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS II), contract number GS-06F-1254Z. This five-year contract vehicle, with an option for an additional five years, allows Federal Technology STARS to compete for task orders with a ceiling value of $10 billion.
On April 15, 2011, L D Ness Inc. was certified as a woman-owned 8(m) small business by the Small Business Administration.
March 1, 2011 -We are pleased to announce that we are a member of one of 33 teams selected to provide IT services for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under the TIPSS-4 ITS contract. The IRS competed its long-time IT services-related suite of indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, called TIPSS-4 ITS, which have a 10-year period of performance (one base-year and nine one-year options). These contracts are the primary procurement vehicles for technology-related services within the Internal Revenue Service and other Treasury bureaus.
