Download CEMS
Updated 1/25/13. See release notes.

You will need Microsoft Access 2003 or higher. Click here to download CEMS.

If you are not able to open it directly in the browser, save the file into the root folder (C:\) and then open it by hitting Start and Run and entering C:\CEMS.EXE. You may use this method if you are either a first-time user or if you have already installed and used CEMS. It contains a sample conference file called sample. If you have already created a conference under a different name, that conference will not be overwritten by this download.

If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, please follow these instructions after downloading it. Vista security prevents some of the automatic installation steps from running.

DECA Users: Here is a sample database based on the National DECA ICDC conference. You may use it with your CEMS. Click here to download it. Save it into the C:\CEMS folder, and then hit Start and Run and type c:\cems\deca_sample.exe. This version contains the National DECA custom menus. For a version with the standard menus, click here.

Notes
1/4/2010 Microsoft recently disabled the Active-X controls that CEMS used for scanning and downloading data in its Security Update 926857. They subsequently released new versions of these controls, which are now included in the 1/4/2010 version. If you encountered problems in scanning, please download this version.
3/4/2010 CEMS is compatible with the Scantron/NCS Opscan™ optical mark readers. If you use an Opscan, be sure to install the Scantron emulation package. In CEMS, select an OMR model of 8400. The Opscan can only read 48-channel forms such as Red F1187-L.
3/15/2010 It is now possible to sort by either row averages or row totals, depending on whether the display contains a Row Averages or Row totals option. Choose Row Average/Total after the Sort Items by: prompt in the Report Editing screen. Include either a Row Averages or a Row Totals item in the report.
Labels can now be sorted by Event sequence. This will sort them by the order in which the events occur.
1/25/2013 We now support up to 20 custom fields. CEMS will automatically add these (with your approval) if it encounters them in import files. You can use these fields in reports.

You can now have your chapter advisors register their users online, and download the data into CEMS. Click here for more information and to try this out.
