Lawrence Ness The CTO of L D Ness Inc,
Lawrence Ness, has been developing software since 1983. His current
focus is in developing unique user and data interfaces for web- and
desktop-based products, employing C#, PHP, Visual Basic, C/C++, Javascript, and
Transact-SQL.
Prior to coming to L D Ness Inc, he worked as a systems programmer for GTE
Business Communications Systems, supporting a user community of over 350
software developers on VAX/VMS platforms. At GTE, he adapted a set of Digital
Equipment Corporation device drivers developed for use in Europe to operate on
US networks, deploying one of the first wide-area-network systems for VAX
computers in North America.
From 1978 to 1981, Lawrence worked as a software engineer for CSC contracted to
NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center. At CSC, he developed several wide area
data links for receiving and storing satellite telemetry, and co-developed a
more powerful replacement of the IBM Time Sharing Option (TSO) for use by
spacecraft attitude operations.
Lawrence received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from West
Virginia University in 1978, specializing in operating systems, assembly
language programming, and minicomputer communications software. He had a minor
in mathematics and a grounding in electrical engineering, which he studied in
his first two years.
Jie Wang Jie Wang Jie has 10 years of
solid programming experience, with demonstrated skills in Visual Basic, VB
Script, JavaScript, ADO, SQL Server, MAPI and HTML. She has strong skills in
JavaScript and database-driven web applications. Her current responsibilities
include designing and development of interactive websites for online survey,
test, and data analysis, as well as real-time reporting, using Active Server
Pages and MS SQL Server back ends. She has developed generalized navigation
systems that form the backbone of numerous websites, using a unique dynamic
behind-the scenes interaction between the client and the server to efficiently
distribute large quantities of data on demand. She also developed a multi-party
E-Commerce evaluation system for a sales training client. This application has
been used by more than 200 franchisees across the country to evaluate thousands
of salespeople. Jie holds a Bachelor's degree in Information System Management
from Jilin University, China.

payments. Kamal began his IT Career in 1997, starting in C++ application
development and gradually shifted to web based technologies. He worked for
Infosys India Ltd (CMM level 5 company) in India for 2 years before coming to
the US. His previous projects include developing and porting a website on PDA's
and cell phones using XML and WAP, management of networks on Unix as well as on
NT based networks, developed a billing software for VSAT provider company using
VB and crystal reports. Kamal received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer
science from the University of Pune, India. His coursework included extensive
study of operating systems, assemblers and network management concepts. He also
attended XML conference held in New York to learn latest trends in web
development.
